3. Do not use on any downhill slopes, on streets with traffic or any uneven surfaces. Only use PLIWS on dry, level pavements away from traffic and keep a safe distance from others!

4. Always avoid sloping areas, steep departures, travelled roads, debris, gravel, sand, drainage grates and any uneven underground in all cases! These will cause you to stop suddenly!

Beginners Tip:

1. All skaters should require to have the certain skill and some practice. PLIWS operates as a kind of progressive movement with a relatively high injury risk such as Inline-Skates or Skateboards. Therefore be prepared for injuries, protection equipment must be worn at all times when using PLIWS and even so this will not offer you a 100% protection from the chance of serious injuries occurring. Therefore skaters are to avoid excessive speed! Most accidents happen to "PLIWS beginners" in the first 15 minutes, so extra caution should be used while becoming used to how PLIWS operate. Practice first at home on a smooth surface to learn, before you venture out on to asphalt and always have someone nearby to give you assistance if necessary.

2. Before you start, you must always check that all parts are tight and securely fastened. For the first time, the beginner must practice on a smooth area like home or similar type location, before venturing yourself out on asphalt and always have someone nearby to give you assistance. Lift the ball of your foot and find your balance point. Try on one foot and repeat with both feet. Begin with your feet one foot in front of the other.

3. Stand with your hands spread out wide and remain upright on your PLIWS.  Move your arms to achieve a balance point when you lift the ball of your feet. Try on one foot first and repeat with both feet. Begin with your feet together. Using the trailing leg to push your body forward then lift the ball of your feet quickly and balance on the wheels. You will then feel your PLIWS rolling. You can use the brake on one heel of PLIWS when you want to stop without assistance and you can also place the ball of you foot back on the ground to walk by considering and adjusting to suit the speed you are travelling. You then will learn how to move and use your PLIWS with practice. Please take your time to learn carefully and become familiar with your limitations of using PLIWS.

4. The skater needs assistance to start and learn how to move with PLIWS. However, please do not impatient at the beginning and take your time to learn carefully how to use your PLIWS.

Maintenance and care:

1. PLIWS require regular maintenance. If the exchange of parts should become necessary, the user should only use original spare parts for safety. A repair should only be undertaken by specialist who is familiar with the related dangers and/or relevant regulation needed for your PLIWS.

2. You may not make any changes to the PLIWS, which could impair security and safe operation of your PLIWS. The self-locking effect of the self-locking screws can diminish by repeated release and tightening of the liaison vehicles, if so these must be replaced with genuine PLIWS parts which can be ordered in our eSHOP

3. You should remove any developed sharp edges that may occur with use as quickly as possible when using PLIWS any questions about your PLIWS email inq@pliws.com.au

4. Careful use, regular inspections and maintenance, increases safety and the life span of your PLIWS. Performing sharp turns or sliding the wheels sideways, particularly on course surfaces will cause the urethane wheels to wear much sooner than with normal use!

5. Replacement parts are available form our eSHOP
